Terms and Conditions of Use

Welcome. These Terms and Conditions govern the access and use of the Climbing Partner application, hereinafter referred to as “the Application.”

By registering or using the Application, you fully accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.


1. Purpose

The Application offers a free service to connect people who want to climb but do not have a partner to do so. The Application facilitates the process of finding a climbing partner, nothing more.


2. Registration and Access

To access certain features, it is necessary to create an account by providing truthful, up-to-date, and complete information. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for all activities carried out with their account.


3. Permitted Use and Objectionable Content

The user agrees to use the Application lawfully, without violating current legislation, good faith, or public order.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The publication or transmission of any type of content that is:

  • Offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or that incites hatred or violence.
  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or involving minors.
  • That violates the privacy or rights of third parties.
  • That promotes illegal or harmful activities.
  • Spam or unsolicited commercial content.

The Application will implement methods to filter objectionable content and reserves the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without prior notice.


4. Reporting and Blocking Content and Users

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. To this end, the Application provides:

  • A mechanism for users to flag objectionable content they find on the platform.
  • A mechanism for users to block abusive users and prevent future interactions with them.

The developer undertakes to act on objectionable content reports within a maximum of 24 hours from their receipt, proceeding to remove the reported content and, if necessary, to eject the user who provided it.


5. Intellectual Property

All content, structure, source code, and other elements of the Application are the exclusive property of Santiago de los Santos Cicutto or are used with the necessary rights.

Reproduction, distribution, or modification without the express authorization of the owner is prohibited.


6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability

The service is provided “as is,” without guarantees of availability or uninterrupted operation. Although reasonable technical measures are employed, the absence of errors or absolute security is not guaranteed.

The owner will not be responsible for:

  • Service interruptions due to technical or external causes.
  • Data loss not attributable to the owner’s negligence.
  • Improper use by users.

7. Third-Party Links

The Application may contain links to third-party websites. No control is exercised over these, and no responsibility is assumed for their content or privacy practices.


8. Data Protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are an integral part of these Terms.


9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. In the event of substantial changes, registered users will be notified. Continued use of the Application after such notification implies acceptance of the new terms.


10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. In case of conflict, both parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
